Interactive Salt Marsh

If you’re looking to cool off on a hot summer day, Atlantis Marine World has just the place for you – our Interactive Salt Marsh.

Visitors 42.5 inches or taller can roll up their pants and take off their shoes to get an up-close look at Long Island’s marine life. An Aquarium staff member will guide you through the marsh while describing the many inhabitants of our local salt marshes. Watch as killifish glide past your toes, but be careful not to step on that rock – it just might move!
