Atlantis Marine World’s Summer Adventure Days add interactive excitement to summer vacation. Separate programs provide age-appropriate learning and activities for children ages 4–14.

Discoverers (Ages 4–5; includes parent/guardian)
Discover the wonders of the marine environment with your little one. Explore the Aquarium, take a water adventure aboard the Atlantis Explorer Tour Boat, investigate a beach, and go seining to catch fish. Includes craft and snack each day.

Explorers
(Ages 6–8)
There’s a whole world to explore…underwater. Participants will be guided on a marine adventure that will explore the hidden treasures of the sea. Meet horseshoe crabs and stingrays, seine for fish in our local waters, and take a ride aboard the Atlantis Explorer Tour Boat. Includes craft, games, and snack each day.

(Ages 9–12)
Explore the awesome marine environment during this weeklong marine science adventure. Explorers will investigate the Aquarium, collect and identify living marine specimens during a trip aboard the Atlantis Explorer Tour Boat, collect and analyze water samples, participate in a fish dissection, and kayak in a salt marsh.

Naturalists (Ages 9–12)
Children explore the environment in which they live as they discover the aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems of Long Island. Using their five senses to experience nature, children hike in the Pine Barrens, engage in pond studies, and paddle the Peconic River by canoe. Program provided in partnership with Quogue Wildlife Refuge. Parents/guardians are responsible for drop-off and pick-up at various sites.

Adventurers (Ages 12–14)
Atlantis Marine World’s Extreme Adventure Days give young Adventurers the chance to get extreme for the summer! Participants have the opportunity to climb a rock wall at Poseidon’s Peak & Playground, Snorkel Adventure, Shark Dive, canoe the Peconic River, and kayak in Peconic Bay.
