Atlantis Marine World’s Summer Adventure Days add interactive excitement to summer vacation. Separate programs provide age-appropriate learning and activities for children ages 3–14.

Hatchlings (Age 3)
Discover the wonders of life under the sea with your little “hatchling.” Explore the Aquarium, go fishing, and investigate up-close the critters that live in our local waters. Be ready to get wet while romping through the salt marsh. Craft and snack each day.

Junior Explorers
(Ages 6–8)
There’s a whole world to explore...underwater. Participants will be guided on a marine adventure that will explore the hidden treasures of the sea. Meet horseshoe crabs and stingrays, seine for fish in our local waters, take a ride aboard the Atlantis Explorer Tour Boat. Craft and snack each day.

Explorers
(Ages 9–11)
Explore the awesome marine environment during this science adventure. Explorers will investigate the Aquarium, collect and identify living marine specimens during a trip aboard the Atlantis Explorer Tour Boat, collect and analyze water samples, and kayak in a salt marsh.

Naturalists (Ages 9–11)
Children explore the environment in which they live as they discover the aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems of Long Island. Using their five senses to experience nature, your child will hike in the Pine Barrens, engage in pond studies, and paddle the Peconic River by canoe. Program in partnership with NYS Department of Environmental Conservation. Parents/guardians are responsible for dropoff
and pick-up at various sites.

Sea-SI: Marine Unit
(Ages 12–14)
Budding crime scene investigators will search for forensic evidence to solve some fishy happenings at Atlantis Marine World. The Aquarium becomes the scene for a watershed of mysteries with a marine twist. Program culminates with a real animal necropsy.
